For all those lovely people who visited NGS Garden Ferns Lodge for our opening on the 3rd and 4th June –
It was lovely to see you all and thanks to you, we were able to send over £2,400 to the National Garden Scheme so that they can support various hospital/their beneficiaries.
I would also like to thank all those who played with tennis balls and sticks for my plucky companion Labrador Ghillie – he had a super time…
Also to all those who helped in so many ways – the Ferns Lodge team are amazing and there are a lot of them… In no particular order –
We are still open for private showings and have an event in July and so if you would like to visit NGS Garden Ferns Lodge do just let us know. 100% of proceeds are for the NGS. We still have some plants left so we are going to have a go at a pop up stall on the top drive so if you see it, do support it – again for the NGS.
The garden is now breathing and all the yellow signs are packed away for next year. We are now struggling with lack of rain and therefore watering furiously. Our somewhat inevitable rain dance will hopefully work as the new grass and planting is now looking less than prime.
Amongst all the cutting back and gardening, we are starting to think about new projects and about what the plan is for the 2024 season. Do come and see us when we open next year, if not before and a massive thank you for supporting our NGS opening.
